By the Ministry of Culture, Arts Division, the China Oil Painting Society, Beijing Art's "Oil Painting and Modern Oil Painting Exhibition" Art Museum of China has appeared, the number of exhibitors and exhibits length works are the largest in recent years.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of China Oil Painting Society, the exhibition is the subject of the New Chinese oil exploration and development of a new academic study shows, is related to creation of a centralized display.
The exhibition organizing committee received more than 3600 works in pictures, after two rounds of secret ballot by the Arts Council of experts, selected 420 works in the original selection, and after another serious original selection, the final 246 selected works exhibition. Art Museum of China exhibition occupies 9 Gallery.
China Oil Painting Society official said that the development requirements of the times to be further attention to the Chinese oil painting contemporary Chinese society, which reflects not only through the works of contemporary social life, but also to further the spiritual dimension of contemporary society, and with the closely linked so that the spirit of artistic creation as the characterization of contemporary society and an important part of the further demonstration of the inner world of contemporary Chinese, the Chinese oil painting has a more profound humanistic spirit.
